Practice forgiveness…

Posted by Arja on October 13 in Holistic Health

There are arguments and misunderstandings with others but sometimes, being forgiving means being able to forgive yourself too.  We are faster to forgive others for perceived wrongs than we are to forgive ourselves for something as simple as eating a cookie.

Achieving balance in life involves accepting everything that happens; the good and the not so good.  Everything happens for a reason.  You’ve heard this before, but what if it is true?  What if there really is a lesson to be learned from everything?  I believe that there is.  Mistakes I make today set the foundation for self-improvement.  More importantly, though, life is about living not standing back and waiting for the perfect moment and the perfect action.

So, take stock of all the grudges you are holding against yourself for unachieved perfection.  Forgive yourself for not being the super-person you imagine that you should be because right now, you are exactly who you are supposed to be.
